The winners of ninth Kurdish theater festival was held at Saggez town – Kurdistan province Iran.

The play called ”Male Le Kul” written by Hossein Fazlullahi and directed by Omid Khakpour from Mahabad town became the best play and was referred to 29th International Fadjr theater festival.

In this years festival 37 works from different provinces of Iran were sent to the 5th event, out of which 7 works were selected to compete for the final selection.The winners of different sections wewre as follows:

Play write: “Boughekan” (Frog) by Saber Delbina the first prize,

Best actress: Sheida Shurenag for her play at “MaleLe Kul”,

Best actor: Jaffar Dordaneh for his role at “ Mahtab”,

Best director; for lifetime work on theater Esmail Pashai and Safar Delbina were greeted.

And the first prize went to Amin Khakpour for his directorship of the play ”Mele Le Kul”.
