The plays selected to compete in the 13th International Academic Drama Festival are announced. The festival will be held from April 30-May 8, 2010 in Tehran, Iran.
A panel of experts short-listed 39 plays into 13 works which were submitted by different drama educational groups in the country. In addition, 6 other works were selected to be considered in the international section of the festival. |

The final ceremony of seventh festival of "Picture of the year" was held on Friday 12th Mar 2010 in Artists House, Tehran.
The competition covers different art forms; phtography, graphics, cartoon and film.
The organizers announced 1673 requests were recieved out of which 830 photographers were selected for participation in the comprtition. 871 photographs with 561 tabloids , out of 45000 frames went on the exhibition walls. 164 young |

Secretariat of 11th Book of the Season Award announced the edition's selected works. The laureates will receive their awards in the House of Literati. Autumn authored works competed in this edition. According to the Award\'s secretariat, 4152 works were assessed in the 11th edition.

The top medal of visual arts was handed to seven influential Iranian artists during the closing ceremony of the 2nd Fajr Visual Arts Festival here on Saturday at Vahdat Hall.

The 11th Picture World(Donya-ye Tasvir) Cinematic and TV Films Celebration was held on Friday night at the Milad Tower after a two-year hiatus.
The magazine was banned in March 2008 and publication resumed about a year later.

The 25th Fajr International Music Festival was brought to an end with the selection of winners in its six different categories.
The closing ceremony was held at Tehran’s Vahdat Hall where an official and musician Shaahin Farhat read the statement released by the jury.
During the festival, eleven halls in Tehran hosted 107 performances by 13 pop bands, six classical ensembles, 12 traditional ensembles, seven choirs and 12 regional music ensembles.

The winners of the 9th Shahid Ghani pour literary festival announced.
