Six groups from Abadan, Ahvaz , Khorramshahr, Isphahan,Shahin shahr and Mashad will compete in the thirteenth Resistance theater festival(on the important occasion of  Recapturing Khorramshahr). Along with five theater groups from Tehran.

Second music festival with the title of "from classic to contemporary" will be held with collaboration of Iran musuc association and tehran music group in Rudaki hall, Tehran.

The festival will be held on 4th Khordad(24th June 2010) and receives soloists and group performances and the final date for receiving the works is 13th Ordibehesht(3rd June 2010).

15th of Ordibehesht( 5th May) is tha final date for receiving the works to participate in the competition.

The coincidiance of Arbaeen (40th) of Imam Hossein and this years Fajr celebration of Islamic Revolution prepares the ground to attend the occasion in a different attitude, not only in Tehran but in the national level.

All can participate in the competition by sending seven pieces of 30cm or 40cm;photographs in digital,B/W or photo chemical forms,with the name of photographer on it.

The final ceremony will be held on month of Kohrdad and 3 of the best

Tenerife sixteenth International festival of childrens illustarations, recognized its winners, with seven Iranians on the list.

The competition was held in two sections; first "the fat lady" where 24 illustrators from all over the world completed the final list in  which names of three Iranian illustrators exist.

Pegah Kazemi won the honourary diploma of the event, Nasim Azadi  and Golnar Servatian  were both included in the catalog. The second part was titled "Venizia, yesterday,today and tommorow" where 30 artists works were included in the

Sixth festival of student's film and theater competition will be held 7th - 11th Khordad(31st June 2010.

The festival is organized by Allameh University and participants of other countries will also attend the event.

Festival will cover both film and photography while the film will have works on fiction,documentary,

Fifth Marivan Street Theater Festival has called on theater artists to participate in this year's event. The festival will be held in three sections; competition,workshops and International theater groups.

Final date for receiving the works is 19th Khordad ( 9th June 2010), for those works that they cannot perform in public a layout of the play, and a DVD of those works suitable for public performances to be submitted to the secretariat of the festival.

Acceptance of the works will be announced on 5th Mordad( 25th Aug 2010),

The First Congress of Iranian and World Poets opened with a ceremony at Tehran’s Vahdat Hall Saturday morning. The event was attended by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and several Iranian officials and literati.

Poets from 51 countries including Albania, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Oman, Russia, Tajikistan, Philippine and India attended.
