The jury of the second Islamic Radio and Television Productions Festival selected its final submissions and will announce the winners in the closing ceremony to be held on October 12.

Over 340 works were submitted to the secretariat of the festival. The final entries will be competing in the different sections of TV productions, radio productions, political and news, and internet websites, secretariat of the program announced on Monday.

The second edition of the festival enjoys more variety and an increase in numbers, said secretary of the radio productions committee Valiollah Qaraqani.

“The competitive atmosphere of the festival helps productions increase in number and quality.” The fourth session of the General Assembly of the Islamic Radio and Television Union as well as the Islamic Film Market will open on October 10 and will run for two days.

The Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) International Conference Hall will be hosting the closing ceremony.
