fFirst Fajr Visual Art Festival has announced its winners in different categories during a ceremony in Tehran.
The selected artists were announced in five categories of Painting, Sculpture, Poster, Photography and Cartoon.
The jury selected works by Mahmoud Azadnia, Mahmoud Mokhtari, Shahram Rezaei, Jaber Asadi, Reza Mokhtari, Majid Amini and Neda Tanhayi as the best works in the Cartoon category.

The festivals secretary, Ali Mo'alem Damghani, said:" in the following three years the Fajr poetry festival has based a foundation and it will continue the same procedure in future.
He also thanked the culture and Islamic guidance minister and the cultural deputy efforts.
The ceremony ended with granting awards to the selected poets. For the young poetry category the selected poets were awarded in 3 parts; the classic poetry, modern poetry and the children and teen poetry. The first winner was awarded with 8 gold coins, plate of appreciations and the festival's statue and in order the second and third persons got 4 and 6 coins.
In honoring the veterans part, 5 gold coins, plate of appreciations, the festival's statue and a precious book
of Professor Farshchain's works were granted to 30 selected poets.
80 selected poets in "Islamic revolution today's poetry era" category were awarded by 5 gold coins and a plate of appreciations.

In the classic category:
The first place: Hossein Jannati (Varamin, Tehran province), Mohammad Mehdi Sayyar ( Fars province)
The second place: Alireza Bade' ( Neyshabour, Khorasan Razavi province) and Mohammad Javad Shahmoradi (Fars province)
The third place: Mehdi Mazaheri Khorzani (Tehran province) and Mehdi Faraji (Kashan, Isfahan province)
For the youth category in modern poetry:
Ebrahim Akbari Deezgah (Qom province), Majid S'ad-abadi (Isfahan province), Alireza Labsh (Qom province)
The selected persons in teens field:
Hossien Tolaei (Tehran Province)
The selected in children's category:
Maryam Zandi (Malayer, Hamedan province) and Maryam Hashempour (Tehran province).
