As the public relations department of Art Academy reported, the 2nd congress of “Iran’s forgotten treasures” will honor 12 veteran professors of Iranian traditional arts. Seyyed Hassan Motevalian, Seyyed Hussein Madani, Habib Naghash, Seyyed Reza Rouhani, Reza Rouh bakhsh, Gholam ali Hajari, Seyyed Hassan Razavi, Mohammad Nazeri, Iraj Bakhshi, Sara Mohammadi, Atieh Roshanfekr and Golgis Habibi will be honored in the congress.

197 music groups have registered in Fajr music festival so far.Fajr music festival is the most important national event on the subject being held annualy on the anniversary of Islamic Revolution in Tehran,

The groups have chosen to participate under different titles; classic,traditional, regional, pop, orchestral, choirs and making music.

Fajr Music festival will be held in Tehran ,Esfand 7th to 14th.

Today is a real treat. This is a poster by Shahrzad Changalvaee, a completely amazing graphic designer and associate-by-chance through my professor Erik Brandt. Changalvaee is an Iranian type-maestro; in this project she uses photo-typography to make a poster for an event surrounding three mixed-media artists doing a show involving Iran’s contemporary social-political situation. The 3rd International Graphic Biennial of the Islamic World announced winners in a ceremony held at the conference hall of the Iranian Academy of Arts (IAA) here on Monday evening, in honor of Mahmud Javadipur.

IAA secretary Bahman Namvar-Motlaq paid tribute to Mahmud Javadipur, referring to him as a pioneer of modern art in Iran. Namvar-Motlaq remarked that Javadipur as member of the academy has been a major figure

The third biennial of Islamic Worlds Graphic Arts ending ceremony will be held tommorow with honouring a lifetime success by Mahmood Javadi Pour.
38 countries attended the festival held by Iran's Academy of Arts, Academy also held workshops and seminars along with the main event. The seminars was well attended by young artists.

Artists representing 91 countries will be taking part in the 8th Tehran International Cartoon Biennial. A total of 4,238 artworks were submitted to the secretariat of the gala out of which 839 works will go on display at the exhibition. Turkey, China and Brazil respectively are the most active participants in the event.

The third edition of the Culture Festival of Iranian Tribes will be held in the northern Iranian city of Gorgan, Golestan province. Nine regional musical group representing different Iranian provinces including Ardebil, Mazandaran, Gilan, Kordestan, Semnan and Kermanshah will be giving performances during the event.

Sixth Razavi visual art festival opened at Shiraz's Hafez hall. Secretariat for Fars province's visual art festivals told reporters that Imam Reza visual art festival is the most widespread festival in the country.

The festival will cover seven fields of art; painting, poster, sculpture, Tdhhib, Gol o Mogh amnd more modern versions of visual arts along with calligraphy.
