6000 work of art have been received by Secretariat  of the second Fajr Visual Art Festival.The festival in it's second year running has created strong attraction all around the world and in this year's festival artists representing 70 countries have participated in the event.

The 4th Carpet Olympiad is to be held by INCC, Ministry of Education and Higher Education Institutes.

For the 4th time, it will be at two levels of university student and school student in 4 fields of weaving, repairing, designing and dyeing. Provincial stage of the Olympiad is now being held and provincial elects will compete this

Houshang Javid, Mohammad reza Darvishi and Hatam asgari Farahani as the best researchers of religious music.In this event the festival was held to study the different styles in "Cinezani" (religious act to commemorate Prophet's ggrand son Imam hossein), in Iranian panorama.

The prize giving ceremony will be held in KHordad 1389(June 2010)-Tehran.

Also there will be a ceremony to remember the most reverand of the music in contemporary Iran.

Pars Special Economic Energy Zone’s Conference on Knowledge-based Development will hold a regional music festival promoting the rituals of Iran’s southern province Bushehr on January 6 and 7 in Asaluyeh.

Over 50 virtuosos on senj and dammam, percussion instruments played in the southern region of Iran, will attend the event, which is on the sidelines of the Conference on Knowledge-based Development at the Pars

Tehran’s Sadabad Palace Museum is playing host to a teahouse painting exhibit on the occasion of Muharram. Entitled “The Karbala Calamity”, the showcase contains artworks created by masters including Mohammad Modabber and Hossein Aghasi.

4th poster Ashura competition ends by introducing it's winners in the Beethoven Hall of Iranian Artists House.

According to Hoze Honari's website the main concept of the competition was to create art works highlighting subject of freedom.While total number of posters recieved by the secretariate was 1470 the jury selected 40 works as the best of entries. 72 of the works will be put to public exhibition in Tehran.

The month of Muharram has started in Islamic calenderm while Iranian Shias along with Shias of Iraq,Pakistan,Azerbayjan, Saudi Arabia,Lebanon,India, Europe,Americas, Australia,and Asian countries are mourning during this month for the matyrdom of Imam Hossein, Grand Son of Prophet Mohammad (SA).

Oghaf Organization with cooperation of Rasekhoon Art Center and Isphahn's Basij of Scholars have announced the competition for the best works on posters and photographers.
