Iran's biggest independent work of art was unveiled in Hormoz Island, Iran in the presence of more than 100 visual art artists. Artists in 36 groups executed their art projects using colored soil and natural materials in the 1800 meter shores of Hormoz Island and a beautiful landscape on the shores of Persian Gulf.

The first international festival of visuall art for children and young adults will be held in Ordibehesht 1390 AH( May 2011) in Isphahan – South Iran.

The festival will have two sections; National and International in three age categories; 6-9, 9-12, and 12-16 . Masters of music reopened the Music Museum of Iran during a ceremony held on Friday evening.

Great musicians and singers Mohammadreza Shajarian, Hossein Dehlavi, Hossein Alizadeh, Davud Ganjeii, Mohammad Sarir, Dariush Pirniakan, Hushang Kamkar, Dariush Talaii and Farhad Fakhreddini were seen among the guests at the opening ceremony.

The House of Music Celebration announced its winners during a ceremony held Monday at the Vahdat Hall The winners were announced in three sections: books published on music since 2006, albums as well as the winner of the Meshkatian Special Award.

The celebration was held on the occasion of the 11th anniversary of establishment of the house. “Ghafe Eashgh”, an album by vocalist Alireza Qorbani and Eshtiaq ensemble ranks first among seven albums on the short list at the Album Section.

Santur virtuoso Masud Aramesh won the Meshkatian Special Award for his solo performance and composer Asghar Mohammadi was awarded for his innovative piece played on the zarb.

Three manuscripts in this museum have great significance since they are attributed to three Imams of Shia sect namely; Imam Hsan Mojtaba(AS), Imam Hossein (AS), Imam Sajjad (AS), who followed Imam Ali(AS) the first Shia Imam and the fourth Khalif after Prophet Mohammad (SA) .
