Fajr filmfest announces lineup for two main sections PDF Print E-mail

The films that will compete at the Iran Cinema Section and also films that will go on screen at the International Section were announced by 29th Fajr International Film Festival.

The festival announced 32 films will compete at the Iran Cinema Section and one film may be added to the list. “Report of a Celebration” by Ebrahim Hatamikia, “Peaceful Streets” by Kamal Tabrizi, “A Sugar Cube” by Reza Mirkarimi, “Beloved Sky” by Dariush Mehrjuii, “The Outcasts 3” by Masud Dehnamaki, “Sa’adatabad” by Maziar Miri, “Mr.Yusef” by Ali Rafiei and “Passion of Charlie”Alireza Sa’adatnia are among the films that will compete at the Iran Cinema Section of the festival. Thirteen films from different countries, including Britain, the Philippines, France and Croatia will go on screen at the International Section of the festival. “Bibinur Story” by Yuri Feting (Russia, Tatarstan), “The Blacks” by Goran Devic and Zvonimir Juric (Croatia), “Haru’s Journey” by Masahiro Kobayashi (Japan), “Honey” by Semih Kaplanoglu (Turkey), “How I Ended This Summer” by Alexei Popogrebsky (Russia), “Cosmos” by Reha Erdem, “Lola” by Brillante Mendoza and “Medal of Honor” by Calin Peter Netzer are some of the films.
