This year's festival screened more than 60 Iranian animations as well as short and feature-length films along with 200 productions from 32 other countries.
Argentina, Austria, the US, Spain, Brazil, Sweden, France, India, Poland, Finland, Ukraine, the UK, Italy, Ireland, Bulgaria and Turkey were among the countries participating in the festival's international competition section.
Some of the winners of Iran's 2010 International Film Festival for Children and Young Adults are as follows:
Short Animation
Best Director: Philip Hunt for Lost and Found, the UK Best Short Animation: Farmer and the Robot by Abdollah Alimorad, Iran

Long Animation

Best Director: Eduardo Schuldt for The Dolphin, Story of a Dreamer, Germany/Peru/Italy

Special Jury Award: Zakaria Razi by Farshad Shafiei, Iran
Best Long Animation: Jasmin Birds by Sulafa Hijazi, Syria

Short Film

Best Director: Nuno Rocha for 3×3, Portugal0

Special Jury Award: Gorilla by Hanna Holm, Finland

Best Short Film: Soccer Field by Jalal Nasiri, Iran

Feature Film

Best Artistic Achievement Award: Baris Ozbicer for Semih Kaplanoglu's Honey, Turkey/Germany

Best Young Adult Actor: Sae-ron Kim in Ounie Lecomte's Brand New Life, France/South Korea

Best Asian Film: The Homeless Student by Tomoyuki Furumaya, Japan

Best Screenplay: Paul Maar and Ulrich Limmer for Lars Buechel's Lippel's Dream, Germany

Best Director: Ounie Lecomte, Brand New Life, France/South Korea

Special Jury Award: Nokhodi by Jalal Fatemi, Iran

Best Feature Film: Brand New Life by Ounie Lecomte, France/South Korea
