The twenty seventh annual event on short films will be held in Tehran and 8 other provinces from 28^th Aban to 3^rd Azar (18^th – 23^rd Nov 2010).

Organizers of the festival have two sections in the festival; National and International, while the national section will hold the"National Competition" , Reflection of Faith", " Beautiful Landscape of our lands", " A Light on the Way" and side events. And International section will hold "International Competition" , " Asian Competition", " Eastern Reflection" and " Islamic World".

80 countries have applied to participate in the event and so far 1400 works have been received by the secretariat.

Islamic countries with 13 entries and 57 others from countries; Germany, Brazil, England, Spain, US, Italy, Belgium, Canada, Argentine, India, Switzerland, Turkey, South Korea, Austria, Holland, Portugal, Australia, Hungary, Finland, China, Taiwan, Russia, Ireland, Greece, Serbia, Japan, Sweden, Croatia, Chile, Ukrain, Lebanon, Scotland, Singapore, Peru, Kosovo, Bolivia, Egypt, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cyprus, Malaysia, Algeria, Colombia, Bangladesh, Kuwait, Palestine, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Venezuela and Norway have been sent to the secretariat of the event.
