27th edition of the Tehran International Short Film Festival PDF Print E-mail

Iran is preparing to hold the 27th edition of the Tehran International Short Film Festival (TISFF), hosting directors and screening films from around the globe.

Organized by the Iranian Young Cinema Society (IYCS), a member of the International Short Film Conference (ISFC), the 2010 TISFF will be held in national and international sections.

The national section will include 'National Competition,' 'Panoramas of Our

Beautiful Homeland,' 'Guiding Light' and 'Flicker of Faith' categories.

The international competitors will vie under 'Manifestation of East' and 'Films of the Islamic World categories.'

The 27th Tehran International Short Film Festival will be held from Nov. 19 to 24, 2010. Some 92 narrative, documentary, experimental and animation short films from 40 countries participated in last year's festival with Scotland's Last Regal King Size receiving the Best Feature Film Award of the International Section.
