Iranian writers living abroad to be praised in TIBF PDF Print E-mail

The secretary of the 17th World Book of the Year Award said: We will praise Iranian writers and translators living abroad in a different category in the 23rd Tehran International Book Fair which is to be held; May 5 to May 15.

Along with the 17th World Book of the Year Award a different category will be considered for praising the works by Iranian writers and translators living abroad. He added: In the 23rd Tehran International Book Fair a special ceremony will be held to praise these writers. He said: Also we have analyzed and examined works about Iran and Islamic studies that have been published through out the world between 2000 and 2008 and we will have a special category in the fair for them.

Tthe 17th World Book of the Year Award is based on Molla Sadra philosophy. Islamic philosophy is alive and productive in this field.
