Secretariat of the 27th Iran’s Book of the Year Award announced music works which were short-listed for the 2nd judging phase. The closing ceremony of Book of the Year Award will be held 8 February in Tehran’s Vahdat Hall.

In this edition only 2 works found their way to the 2nd judging phase which were; “Iranian Music story” by Hassan Reza Rafee'e “An introduction on ethnic musicology” by Mohsen Hajarian.

Some 18,722 works are being considered by the panel of judges in all the categories of the award.

The 26th edition of the Award was held last year parallel with the 16th International Book of the Year. In that edition some 27 works won Iran's Book of the Year Award and 32 won world's book of the year award.
