4th Fajr Poetry Festival kicks off PDF Print E-mail

The 4th International Fajr Poetry Festival was set off today (Saturday, January 23, 2010) in the presence of Iran's culture minister, his cultural deputy and a number of poets and cultural managers at the community hall of Bushehr's Cultural-arts Building.

In the ceremony Dr. Mohammad Husseini, culture minister, Shafaghat, Bushehr governor and Dr. Mohsen Parviz, cultural deputy of guidance ministry will deliver speeches. The speeches will be followed by recitations of a number of poets in the ceremony. A group of poets went to the province of Bushehr for attendance in the ceremony. The group included Ali Mousavi Garmaroudi (secretary of the festival), Morteza Amiri Esfandgheh, Mohadethi Khorasani, and Mohammad Ali Bahmani.

Some 10 Persian-speaking poets representing foreign countries have taken part in the international section of the festival.
