The winners of Festival for Sina Theosophia received their awards in 5 sections; the philosophical award of Avicenna, medicine award, Hegmataneh award, Avicenna’s dignities award and the award of researching Avicenna.

Among the 5 introduced winners, Ali akbar Velayati and Gholam reza A’avani received their awards by the president. The winners were; Ayatullah Abdullah Javadi Amoli for his distinguished activities in promoting Islamic philosophy, Dr. Ali akbar Velayati selected in the Avicenna medicine award section for promoting traditional medicine in Iran, Professor Milkous Marout in researching Avicenna was awarded due to his noted activities in introducing Avicenna’s school out side Iran, Ayatullah Seyyed Hadi Khosrowshahi was the winner of Avicenna’s dignities’ section for introducing and honoring the scholars in the Islamic culture in particular the life and works of Seyyed Jamal-uddin Asad Abadi and the winner of Hegmataneh award was Seyyed Hassan Nasr.

The closing ceremony of Festival for Sina Theosophia was held yesterday (Friday) in Hamedan.
