According to the secretary of the 17th Book Week of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the National Library will be the opening place of the convention.

The opening ceremony of the Book Week will be held in the locality of the National Library Saturday evening November 14.

Previously, it was said that the ceremony would be held in Kish Island. As Mohammad Alahyari said, a ceremony will be held in the library to applaud publication devotees and the winners of the book of the year Award. Given the economic conditions of the Kish Free Zone and the favorable publication market in the region, the island will be used to hold meetings with international publishers, added Allahyari.

The opening ceremony will be attended by the Minster of Culture and Islamic Guidance Mohammad Husseini next Saturday (November 14).
